"These chairs were given to me by an ex-neighbor. They hold great sentimental value for me. They are partially restored."

Restored Settee and Chairs
NATALIE MCCURLEY shares this photo of an older loveseat and chairs she had redone...
She writes -
"The company that powdercoated them for me actually sent them to 3 different people to sandblast, and "cook" off the paint in an oven. The first two subcontractors quit because there were so many layers of paint! Now they have a special place on my backporch and each time I sit on them it reminds me of my grandparents."
Thanks - N :)

Restored Loveseat
Jim Frederick of Panama City, Florida shares this photo of an older loveseat he restored recently.
He bartered for the seats and backs, fixed holes and rust, and constructed a new frame for an awning out of tent poles.
Great job, Jim! (submitted Jan. 2008)
Original Condition -
Nick Haas writes....
"MY MOTHER HAS THIS AND THERE IS NOT A NAME ON IT. HER MOTHER HAD IT BE4 HER. I DON'T KNOW WHAT THE ORIGINAL COLOR WAS AS IT WAS PAINTED SEVERAL YEARS AGO. THERE IS A LITTLE SURFACE RUST, BUT NO BAD RUST OR METAL DECAY. IT HAS ALL THE ORIGINAL PARTS, NONE HAVE BEEN REPLACED." THANK YOU!"
Nice shot, Nick! (submitted April. 2008)
